Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Escape the urban bustle at Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory and Fort Zachary Taylor. Your inner history buff will appreciate Audubon House & Tropical Gardens and Key West Cemetery. Change things up with a short trip to National Key Deer Refuge in Big Pine Key (about 50 minutes away).
