Fort Bragg

Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is a military installation of the United States Army and is the largest military installation in the world (by population) with more than 50,000 active duty personnel. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Thu): admire nature's wide array of creatures at Aloha Safari Zoo, then learn about all things military at 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum, and then get outside with Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving. Keep things going the next day: head outdoors with Carolina Horse Park.

To see photos, where to stay, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Fort Bragg trip planner.

Expect a daytime high around 88°F in August, and nighttime lows around 70°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
