The city of Hood River is the seat of Hood River County, Oregon, United States. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sat): stop by Apple Valley Country Store, learn about winemaking at Mt. Hood Winery, then do a tasting at Cascade Cliffs Vineyard & Winery, and finally do a tasting at Sunshine Mill Winery. Here are some ideas for day two: take a memorable drive along Hood River County Fruit Loop, do a tasting at Wy'East Vineyards, and then relax in the rural setting at The Gorge White House.
