Kennewick is a city in Benton County in the southeastern part of the State of Washington, along the southwest bank of the Columbia River, just southeast of the confluence of the Columbia and Yakima rivers and across from the confluence of the Columbia and the Snake. Start off your visit on the 14th (Sun): look for all kinds of wild species at Columbia Park, don't miss a visit to Hanford Nuclear Reservation, then find something for the whole family at Gesa Carousel of Dreams, and finally pause for some photo ops at 9/11 - WTC Memorial. Here are some ideas for day two: don't miss a visit to Regional Veterans Memorial, stroll around Howard Amon Park, then do a tasting at Cooper, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at The Columbia River.

In July, daily temperatures in Kennewick can reach 95°F, while at night they dip to 59°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
