Nestled in the heart of the valley formed by the Shenandoah River, Luray draws visitors with a vast underground cavern system adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and mirrored pools.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): sample the fine beverages at River Hill Wine & Spirits, take in the exciting artwork at Warehouse Art Gallery, then have some family-friendly fun at Garden Maze, then see the interesting displays at Cooter's in Luray, and finally trek along White Oak Canyon Trail. On the 24th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: witness the site of a historic battle at New Market State Historical Park, then snap pictures at Meems Bottom Covered Bridge, and then fly down the slopes at Bryce Resort.

To see other places to visit, photos, where to stay, and other tourist information, use the Luray travel route planner.

In March, plan for daily highs up to 54°F, and evening lows to 32°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
