Mount Baldy or Mt Baldy, formerly Camp Baynham and Camp Baldy, is an unincorporated community in the San Gabriel Mountains, in San Bernardino County near the eastern border of Los Angeles County, in Southern California.GeographyIt is located below Mount San Antonio (Mt Baldy) in San Antonio Canyon. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): hike along Devil's Punchbowl and then fly down the slopes at Mt. Baldy Ski Area. Here are some ideas for day two: tour the pleasant surroundings at El Mirage Lake, then identify plant and animal life at Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary, and then admire all the interesting features of Mt Baldy Road.
