Greenport

— 1 night
Nestled on the north fork of Long Island within a pastoral landscape of farms and vineyards, Greenport is a historic village best known for its waterfront walkway with a 36-horse vintage carousel as its centerpiece.
On the 6th (Sun), find something for the whole family at Antique Carousel. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: relax in the rural setting at Southold Bay Oysters, then relax in the rural setting at Harbes Family Farm, then experience rural life at Lavender By The Bay, and finally take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

For ratings, more things to do, other places to visit, and tourist information, read our Greenport trip itinerary maker site.

New York City to Greenport is an approximately 2.5-hour car ride. Traveling from New York City in September, things will get a bit cooler in Greenport: highs are around 72°F and lows about 59°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
