Buckle of the Bible Belt

Sometimes known as the "Buckle of the Bible Belt," Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Sat): learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Tulsa Zoo, take in nature's colorful creations at Gilcrease Museum, then admire the masterpieces at Philbrook Museum of Art, and finally make a trip to Holy Family Cathedral. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Blue Whale of Catoosa, see the interesting displays at Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve, and then make a trip to The Cave House.

In September, daily temperatures in Tulsa can reach 87°F, while at night they dip to 64°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
