Selma

— 1 night
Selma is a city in and the county seat of Dallas County, in the Black Belt region of south central Alabama and extending to the west. You've now added Museum of Slavery and Civil Rights to your itinerary. On the 11th (Mon), get to know the fascinating history of Selma to Montgomery, take an in-depth tour of Museum of Slavery and Civil Rights, then take an in-depth tour of Selma Interpretive Center, and finally take in the views from Edmund Pettus Bridge. Keep things going the next day: get engrossed in the history at National Voting Rights Museum and Institute, contemplate the long history of Old Cahawba Archaeological Park, and then walk around Peach Park.

For where to stay, reviews, and more tourist information, refer to the Selma day trip app.

In January, plan for daily highs up to 59°F, and evening lows to 36°F.
