Old Pueblo

One of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, Tucson is a city on a cultural crossroads, with European, Native American, Mexican, and Asian residents blending and sometimes conflicting with one another.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Barrio Historico, El Presidio Park, Old Town Artisans, and other attractions you added. Start off your visit on the 19th (Sat): take in breathtaking views at Sabino Canyon, cruise along Mt. Lemmon Scenic Byway, then admire the sheer force of Tanque Verde Falls, and finally cruise along Cactus Forest Drive. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the views from Rattlesnake Bridge, look for gifts at Old Town Artisans, then steep yourself in history at El Presidio Park, and finally contemplate the long history of Barrio Historico.
