Palmer — 1 night

Palmer is the borough seat of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. On the 1st (Sat), tour the pleasant surroundings at Pioneer Falls and then surround yourself with nature on Knik Glacier Tours. On your second day here, experience rural life at Musk Ox Farm, admire the majestic nature at Independence Mine State Historical Park, and then sample the tasty concoctions at Bearpaw River Brewing Company.

The Municipality and Borough of Skagway is a first-class borough in Alaska on the Alaska Panhandle. America's Largest Capital Area

Juneau is an unusual state capital in many respects.

The City and Borough of Sitka, formerly Novo-Arkhangelsk, or New Archangel under Russian rule, is a unified city-borough located on Baranof Island and the southern half of Chichagof Island in the Alexander Archipelago of the Pacific Ocean (part of the Alaska Panhandle), in the U.S. state of Alaska. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sat): see what you can catch with a fishing tour, examine the collection at Sheldon Jackson Museum, then view the masterpieces at Island Artists Gallery, and finally get engrossed in the history at Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall.
