Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Absolute Bikes and Northern Arizona University. Explore hidden gems such as Walnut Canyon National Monument and Painted Desert. Step out of Sedona with an excursion to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument in Flagstaff--about 1h 40 min away. There's still lots to do: trek along Devil's Bridge Trail, explore the stunning scenery at Oak Creek Canyon, take in the dramatic natural features at Cathedral Rock, and take in the exciting artwork at Rowe Fine Art Gallery.

Getting from Tucson to Sedona by car takes about 4 hours. Other options: do a combination of shuttle and flight; or take a bus. Traveling from Tucson in August, expect Sedona to be a bit cooler, temps between 37°C and 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Williams.

The town boasts many inns, motels, restaurants, and shops, although its most important feature is serving as the southern terminus of a scenic railway leading to the area's most famous tourist attraction, the World Heritage-listed Grand Canyon.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Sat): look for all kinds of wild species at Bearizona Wildlife Park, then look for gifts at The Gallery in Williams, and then take in breathtaking views at Sycamore Canyon.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Escape the urban bustle at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Horseshoe Bend. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Photography Tours and Gunfighter Canyon. Next up on the itinerary: take in breathtaking views at Antelope Canyon and Head underground at Waterholes Canyon.
