Hartford — 4 nights

Hartford is the capital of the U.S. state of Connecticut. Explore Hartford's surroundings by going to Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. (in East Hampton) and Hubbard Park (in Meriden). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of The Mark Twain House & Museum, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Thomas Hooker Brewery, take an in-depth tour of New England Air Museum, and engage your brain at Connecticut Science Center.
