Mount Shasta

Mount Shasta is a city in Siskiyou County, California, at about 3600ft above sea level on the flanks of Mount Shasta, a prominent northern California landmark. Visiting McCloud Outdoors & Gear Exchange and Mount Shasta Fish Hatchery will get you outdoors. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Badger Run Wildlife Rehab and Pacific Crest Trail. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mount Shasta: Old Station (Hat Creek Rim Overlook & Subway Cave), Caribou Wilderness (in Lassen National Forest) and Klamath Falls (The Children's Museum of Klamath Falls, Baldwin Hotel Museum, &more). The adventure continues: take an in-depth tour of Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum, glide through natural beauty at Mt. Shasta Nordic Center, take in the awesome beauty at Castle Lake, and contemplate the waterfront views at Trinity Lake.
