Seattle
— 19 nights

Emerald City
Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.Get out of town with these interesting Seattle side-trips: Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum (in Everett), Discover Nature (in Mount Rainier National Park) and Langley (Putney Woods Trails, Whidbey Island Distillery, &more). Dedicate the 30th (Tue) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Pike Place Market, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, take in the waterfront at Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, and examine the collection at The Museum of Flight.

In March, daytime highs in Seattle are 56°F, while nighttime lows are 42°F.
