Once saddled with the reputation of being one of the country's dirtiest cities, Chattanooga now boasts a pedestrian-friendly downtown with a network of leafy waterfront trails and free electric shuttles.
Explore Chattanooga's surroundings by going to Bald River Falls (in Tellico Plains) and Ocoee (Adventures Unlimited, River Rafting & Tubing, & more). And it doesn't end there: admire nature's wide array of creatures at Tennessee Aquarium, explore the striking landscape at Rock City Gardens, take some stellar pictures from Rock City, and snap pictures at Walnut Street Bridge.

The largest city on the Mississippi River, Memphis bills itself as both the "Birthplace of Rock" and "Home of the Blues." With such a rich musical heritage, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Elvis Presley chose to live in Memphis during his later years.
Change things up with a short trip to Horseshoe Casino in Tunica (about 44 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Graceland, admire the masterpieces at Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art, stop by Saint Blues Guitar Workshop, and contemplate the long history of Sun Studio.

Davis Memorial, stroll through Vicksburg National Military Park, then get engrossed in the history at U.S.S. Cairo Museum, and finally contemplate the long history of Anchuca Mansion.
