Joplin or is a city in southern Jasper County and northern Newton County in the southwestern corner of the U.S. Start off your visit on the 16th (Sun): take an in-depth tour of George Washington Carver National Monument, take in the dramatic scenery at Grand Falls, then contemplate the long history of Bonnie and Clyde's Joplin Garage Apartment Hideout, and finally stroll through Cunningham Park.
