Mexican Hat is a census-designated place (CDP) on the San Juan River on the northern edge of the Navajo Nations borders in south-central San Juan County, Utah, United States. Kick off your visit on the 20th (Thu): hike along Wildcat Trail, then explore the striking landscape at Valley of the Gods, and then cruise along Moki Dugway.

You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Wall Street and Rainbow Point. Step out of the city life by going to Fairyland Loop Trail and Queen's Garden Trail. Explore Bryce Canyon National Park's surroundings by going to Coyote Buttes (in Big Water) and Kodachrome Basin State Park (in Cannonville). Spend the 22nd (Sat) exploring nature at Peek-A-Boo Loop. There's still lots to do: hike along Mossy Cave Trail, stroll through Rim Trail, and stop by Ruby's Inn Canyon Rock Shop.
