Vicksburg is the only city and county seat of Warren County, Mississippi, United States. Kids will enjoy Vicksburg National Military Park and Old Courthouse. Step off the beaten path and head to Vicksburg National Cemetery and Mississippi Petrified Forest. Explore Vicksburg's surroundings by going to Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge (in Monroe) and Natchez (St. Mary Basilica, Natchez City Cemetery, &more). And it doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Anchuca Mansion, examine the collection at Jesse Brent Lower Mississippi River Museum and Interpretive Center, don't miss a visit to McRaven House, and get engrossed in the history at Old Court House Museum - Eva W.
