Mission San Xavier del Bac and Tumacacori National Historical Park will appeal to history buffs. Museum-lovers will get to explore Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Franklin Auto Museum. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Pima Air and Space Museum, sample the tasty concoctions at Pueblo Vida Brewing Company, play a few rounds at Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club, and take in breathtaking views at Sabino Canyon.

Get some historical perspective at Casa Grande Ruins National Monument and Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Escape the urban bustle at Boyce Thompson Arboretum and Three Mile Wash. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Scottsdale: Chandler (KOLI Equestrian Center & Zelma Basha Salmeri Gallery). Traveling from Tucson in April, expect Scottsdale to be a bit warmer, temps between 88°F and 62°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Flagstaff.
