Known as a ski resort town, Aspen's history goes back to its roots as a silver-mining village tucked away in an isolated valley of the Rocky Mountains.
Change things up with a short trip to Thermal Spas in Glenwood Springs (about 1h 20 min away). On the 7th (Sun), spend an exhilarating day on the slopes at Aspen Highlands. On the 8th (Mon), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Buttermilk Mountain.
