A busy city on the Gulf Coast, Biloxi is one of the nation's oldest communities, first settled by Europeans in 1699.
Take a break from the city and head to Biloxi Beach and The Preserve Golf Club. Popular historic sites such as Beauvoir and Biloxi Lighthouse are in your itinerary. And it doesn't end there: try to win big at Beau Rivage Casino, take in the waterfront at Biloxi Lighthouse Pier, look for gifts at The Art House, and snap pictures at Biloxi Bay Bridge.

Columbus to Biloxi is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Central Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. In October, Biloxi is somewhat warmer than Columbus - with highs of 81°F and lows of 63°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Natchez.
