Lotz House Museum and Downtown Franklin will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Belle Meade Plantation. Visit Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site and George Ranch Historical Park for their historical value. Space Center Houston and The Houston Museum of Natural Science are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Houston to go to Friendswood and see Best Shot Range, which is approximately 36 minutes away.
