Once saddled with the reputation of being one of the country's dirtiest cities, Chattanooga now boasts a pedestrian-friendly downtown with a network of leafy waterfront trails and free electric shuttles.
Bring the kids along to Tennessee Aquarium and Raccoon Mountain Caverns. Step off the beaten path and head to River Rafting & Tubing and Lodge Factory Store. Change things up with a short trip to Ocoee Outdoors, Inc. in Ocoee (about 1h 05 min away). The adventure continues: explore and take pictures at Lookout Mountain, get great views at Rock City, and look for all kinds of wild species at Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center.
