Moose is an unincorporated community in Teton County, Wyoming, United States, in the Jackson Hole valley. Get some historical perspective at Mormon Row Historic District and Chapel of the Transfiguration. Escape the urban bustle at Cascade Canyon Trail and Grand Teton National Park. Step out of Moose with an excursion to Oxbow Bend in Moran--about 40 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: take a memorable drive along 42-mile Scenic Loop Drive, admire all the interesting features of Signal Mountain Summit Road, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Oxbow Bend Turnout, Grand Teton National Park, and explore the activities along Jackson Lake.

Honolulu to Moose is an approximately 12-hour flight. The time zone changes from Hawaii Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a 3 hour difference. Traveling from Honolulu in September, expect Moose to be cooler, temps between 68°F and 35°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Tue) so you can go by car to Yellowstone National Park.

Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Cody.
