Burleson is a city in Johnson and Tarrant counties in the U.S. state of Texas. Visit Fort Parker State Park and Comanche County Historical Museum for their historical value. Visiting Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and Meridian State Park will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Burleson side-trips: Waco (Hawaiian Falls Waco, Waco Mammoth National Monument, &more), Confederate Reunion Grounds State Historic Site (in Mexia) and Glen Rose (Paluxy River, Dinosaur Valley State Park, &more).
