You can take a bus from South Lake Tahoe to Yosemite National Park in 6.5 hours. In July in Yosemite National Park, expect temperatures between 33°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) so you can drive to Carmel.
