A town of hot springs and wine, Paso Robles (or "Pass of the Oaks") feels like a desert paradise to those who travel here.
Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Garden and Museum of Natural History will appeal to museum buffs. Get in touch with nature at Montana de Oro State Park and Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Get out of town with these interesting Paso Robles side-trips: San Simeon (Friends of the Elephant Seal, Piedras Blancas, &more), Morro Bay State Park (in Morro Bay) and Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa (in San Luis Obispo).
