The Motor City
Founded in 1701 by a French explorer and adventurer, Detroit exerted a profound impact on the world for most of the 20th century.Change things up with these side-trips from Detroit: Saginaw Veterans Memorial Plaza (in Saginaw), Sandusky (Kalahari Waterparks & Cedar Point) and Frankenmuth (Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, Boat Tours & Water Sports, &more).
