Once the booming capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the tropical paradise of Lahaina still remains one of Maui's top vacation attractions, providing both culture and recreation.
For shopping fun, head to Maui Hands or Village Galleries in Lahaina. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Ho'okipa Beach Park and Kapalua Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Lahaina: Wailea (Keawakapu Beach, Ulua Beach, &more) and Kihei (Kamaole Beach Park I, Kamaole Beach Park II, &more).
