You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Disneyland Park and Universal Studios Hollywood. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Los Angeles: Anaheim (Disney California Adventure Park, Radiator Springs Racers, &more), San Diego (Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House, USS Midway Museum, &more) and Heal the Bay Aquarium (in Santa Monica). Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Bring the kids along to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and The Mob Museum. Take a break from Las Vegas with a short trip to Hoover Dam in Boulder City, about 50 minutes away. Traveling from San Francisco in July, things will get much warmer in Las Vegas: highs are around 47°C and lows about 32°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
