More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Get some historical perspective at German Village and Great Circle Earthworks. Get outdoors at Zipline and Hayden Falls Park. Get out of town with these interesting Columbus side-trips: Honda Heritage Center (in Marysville), Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House (in Springfield) and Marion (Harding Presidential Sites & Veterans Memorial Park). There's much more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Saint Joseph Cathedral, see the interesting displays at Wagner-Hagans Auto Museum, enjoy the scholastic atmosphere at Towers Hall, and contemplate the long history of Sherman House Museum.

Dallas to Columbus is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Dallas to Columbus due to the time zone difference.
