Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.Kids will appreciate attractions like Waterskiing & Jetskiing and Ghost & Vampire Tours. Step off the beaten path and head to Balloon Rides and Las Vegas Harley-Davidson. Get out of town with these interesting Las Vegas side-trips: Nelson (Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours & Nelson Ghost Town) and Clark County Heritage Museum (in Henderson). There's much more to do: make a splash at Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas, stop by Las Vegas Fight Shop, trek along Historic Railroad Hiking Trail, and contemplate the waterfront views at Colorado River.
