Manchester is a town in, and one of two shire towns (county seats) of, Bennington County, Vermont, United States. Venture out of the city with trips to West Dummerston Covered Bridge (in Dummerston), Saxtons Distillery (in Brattleboro) and Husky Works Mushing Co. (in West Wardsboro). Next up on the itinerary: browse the exhibits of Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, look for all kinds of wild species at Equinox Preservation Trust, take in the dramatic scenery at Lye Brook Falls, and get great views at Bennington Battle Monument.
