Step out of San Diego with an excursion to Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens in Encinitas--about 32 minutes away. Spend the 23rd (Fri) exploring the fascinating underwater world at SeaWorld San Diego. There's still lots to do: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at San Diego Zoo, see the interesting displays at Maritime Museum of San Diego, steep yourself in history at Marston House Museum, and let the kids burn off some steam at Balboa Park.
