Take a break from the city and head to Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park and Pfeiffer State Beach. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at The Cheese Shop and Trio Carmel. When in Carmel, make a side trip to see McWay Falls in Big Sur, approximately 58 minutes away.
