Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and The Strip. Venture out of the city with trips to Hoover Dam (in Boulder City) and Valley of Fire State Park (in Overton). There's still lots to do: admire the local landmark of Fountains of Bellagio, admire the natural beauty at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, enjoy some diversion at Battlefield Vegas, and have some family-friendly fun at The Roller Coaster.
