Get outdoors at Waikiki Beach and Kailua Beach Park. Kids will enjoy USS Arizona Memorial and Diamond Head State Monument. Step out of Honolulu to go to Haleiwa and see Sunset Beach Park, which is approximately 1h 05 min away. There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, stroll around Kapiolani Regional Park, and see the interesting displays at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park.
