You can do a combination of train and flight from Denver to Aspen in 3.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Denver in January: high temperatures in Aspen hover around 1°C and lows are around -15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
