A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Pigeon Key and EAA Air Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of the city life by going to Bahia Honda State Park and Captain Hook's Marina & Dive Center. When in Marathon, make a side trip to see National Key Deer Refuge in Big Pine Key, approximately 34 minutes away.
