Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and The Roller Coaster. When in Las Vegas, make a side trip to see Hoover Dam in Boulder City, approximately 50 minutes away. The adventure continues: ponder the design of Fountains of Bellagio, admire the natural beauty at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, enjoy breathtaking views from Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, and browse the different shops at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.

Brisbane, Australia to Las Vegas is an approximately 20-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 18 hours traveling from Brisbane to Las Vegas. In March, Las Vegas is a bit cooler than Brisbane - with highs of 27°C and lows of 13°C. Family-friendly places like Walt Disney World Resort and Magic Kingdom Park will thrill your kids. Step out of Orlando with an excursion to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Anaheim--about 36 minutes away.
