In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Get outdoors at Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head State Monument. Museum-lovers will appreciate USS Arizona Memorial and USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Haleiwa (Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach Park, &more) and Kailua Beach Park (in Kailua). The adventure continues: contemplate the waterfront views at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve and admire the sheer force of Manoa Falls.
