Billings is the largest city in the state of Montana, and is the principal city of the Billings Metropolitan Area with a population of 166,855.Billings is located in the south-eastern portion of the state and is the seat of Yellowstone County, which had a 2015 population of 157,048. Do some cultural sightseeing at Little Bighorn Battlefield and Pictograph Cave State Park. Visiting Horseback Riding Tours and Pompeys Pillar National Monument will get you outdoors. Step out of Billings with an excursion to Custer Battlefield Trading Post & Cafe in Crow Agency--about 1h 40 min away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Moss Mansion, take an in-depth tour of Western Heritage Center, take in the dramatic natural features at The Rimrocks, and view the masterpieces at Toucan Gallery.

Bozeman is a city in and the county seat of Gallatin County, Montana, United States, in the southwestern part of the state. Visiting Ousel Falls Trail and Big Sky Resort will get you outdoors. Museum of the Rockies and Downtown Bozeman are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Gardiner serves as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park's northern entrance, marked by an iconic stone arch.
