Phippsburg — 2 nights

Phippsburg is a town in Sagadahoc County, Maine, United States, on the west side of the mouth of the Kennebec River. Start off your visit on the 18th (Tue): trek along Devil’s Back Trail, contemplate the long history of Fort Popham State Historic Site, then kick back and relax at Popham Beach State Park, then step off the mainland to explore Hermit Island, and finally stroll through Cliff Trail.
