Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sam's Point Preserve and Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge. For shopping fun, head to Fifth Avenue or Golden Fish Gallery. Do some cultural sightseeing at The Strip and Madame Tussauds - Las Vegas. Escape the urban bustle at Valley of Fire State Park and Willow Beach. Take a break from Las Vegas with a short trip to Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve in Henderson, about 32 minutes away.
