Family-friendly places like Central Park and The Metropolitan Museum of Art will thrill your kids. Step out of New York City to go to Bronx and see Bronx Zoo, which is approximately 36 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Empire State Building, admire the striking features of Rockefeller Center, get a new perspective on nature at American Museum of Natural History, and steep yourself in history at Ellis Island.

Kids will appreciate attractions like National Air and Space Museum and The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring. Step out of Washington DC to go to Gettysburg and see Gettysburg National Military Park, which is approximately 1h 45 min away. There's much more to do: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at National Zoological Park, see the interesting displays at The National Archives Museum, take an in-depth tour of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and pause for some photo ops at Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. Change things up with a short trip to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Anaheim (about 36 minutes away).
