The iconic seaside destination of Daytona Beach once supported sugar mill plantations, but now entertains up to 8 million visitors a year.
On the 1st (Tue), join the crowd at Daytona International Speedway and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Beach at Daytona Beach. Keep things going the next day: make a splash at Daytona Lagoon, then stroll around Lighthouse Point Park, then gain insight at Marine Science Center, and finally get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour.
