In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.

Drive from Honolulu to Kahuku in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Honolulu in May, things will get a bit cooler in Kahuku: highs are around 30°C and lows about 21°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Fri) early enough to fly back home.
