Pittsburgh

— 25 nights

City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Duquesne Incline as well as Heinz Field. Step off the beaten path and head to Carnegie Museum of Art and Walk the Burgh Tours. Get out of town with these interesting Pittsburgh side-trips: Fallingwater (in Mill Run), Frank Lloyd Wright's Duncan House at Polymath Park Resort (in Acme) and Farmington (Mount Washington Tavern & Fort Necessity National Battlefield). Spend the 5th (Thu) exploring nature at Johnstown Flood National Memorial. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Frick Art and Historical Center, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Washington, don't miss a visit to Market Square, and stroll around Frick Park.

To find reviews, photos, where to stay, and tourist information, you can read our Pittsburgh day trip site.
