Caguas, founded in 1775, is a city and municipality of Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the Central Mountain Range of Puerto Rico, south of San Juan and Trujillo Alto, west of Gurabo and San Lorenzo, east of Aguas Buenas, Cidra, and Cayey.Caguas is located 20mi (twenty minutes to an hour by car) from San Juan and 40mi (an hour and a half by car; it may take longer because of mountainous area in between the two cities) from Ponce. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): ride a horse along Hacienda Madrigal. On your second day here, take a peaceful walk through La Marquesa Forest Park and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Parroquia Santo Cristo de la Salud.

Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo de Arte de Ponce and Centro Cultural Carmen Sola de Pereira de Ponce. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Museo Castillo Serralles and Sandra Farms Coffee. Change things up with a short trip to Island Scuba in Guanica (about 48 minutes away). For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.

Start off your visit on the 24th (Wed): get interesting insight from Tours and then enjoy the sand and surf at Tamarindo Beach.
